Are you confused how to pack wooden toy? How many kinds package for wooden toy? And what’re the different about the cost? This post will instruction detials, let’s start now.
There are total over 15 normal styles, let’s go though one by one.
1, Color Box
Color box is the most common packaging, no matter style or cost, they can be very small and such big with a handle. For most wooden toys, it’s the most safe and competitive way! Especially we sell toys online. The cost of same box will be affected via strength and material.
2, Pizza box / Shoebox
Pizza box is a little expensive than normal color box due to expanded area is larger. It’s easy to pack toys because of big “mouth”.
3, Window Box
Window box is the one of pretty package. The main advantage is we/customer can see wooden toys inside, sometimes can also tough the quality. So lots of buyer like to window box, especially they sell in the shop. However we do not suggest use it if sell online because of not enough stronger than color box. Different from the color box, window box often with other things, such as PPT window, blister and insert to hold and fix toys. Thus normally window box package is more higher than color box.
4, Transparent Box
Transparent Box is suitable for small and light toys and sell in shop like below. We can print some info in box or add sleeve insert so can add something. Like LOGO, description, age, pcs, barcode, warning and so on. Due to pretty and small advantages, these toys with transparent box package usually are sold as promotion!
5, PDQ
It goes without saying that, PDQ is another good way to display small toys in shop. Normally toys will be with a hand tag if without any protect inside. This depends on the characteristics of the toys.
6, Shrink Wrap + Paper Corner or Paper Back
I guess you know that. The high use rage rate are puzzle toys, then other thin and light toys. If possible (I mean toys can choose it). It’s the cheapest package way.
7, Barrel / Backet
As you can see below, bucket usually for blocks, the main and lovely function is store. Now it also cleverly uses it on other products. Like fish game, the bucket as scene ( the ocean ) , not just a bucket. Moreover, there are 3 kinds covers, plastic with shape holes, plastic without hole (can with color sticker), paper.
Bucket’s cost is more higher than color box.
8, Sleeve
Sleeve is a auxiliary packing that to help display printing information. The material usually white or gray card. It’s a easy and cheap choice.
9, Cube Box
Cube box is hand – made, so cost is high than the upside all package. We can choose it for high quality and not big toys and sell them as a gift.
10, Magnetic Box
Magnetic box is also hand – made. It’s also the expensive package for wooden toy. In addition to the storage function, the most important can be used as a background / scene.
11, Wooden Tray / Box
Wooden tray / box is the most strongest package. Actually it always as a part of toy. Sometimes there is no one is more better than it.
12, Brown box with one color printing
When will we choose brown box? When we meet cost problem, especially big toy, like easel. Absolutely, brown box is same strong as color box but more cheaper. In most cases, Big and much heavy toys are packed with double wall brown box as the mass carton directly.
13, Tin box – iron
This is a function requirement to use Tin box. Below video can help us understand it. Just note MOQ of customize tin box is 3000 sets. And supplier will charge mold fee if need new shape.
14, Cloth Bag
Cloth bag is a nomadic and casual package way, kids can carry toys everywhere they want. No heavy no big space. However we need a hang tag to instruction the toy.
15, Lid and base box
Lid and base box are always used for shaped toys. Cost is higher than normal color box.
Warm mark; Supplier will charge us printing fee if quantity under 3000 pcs for all paper material package. More bigger more expensive from $50 – $ 500.
